For this year's book, it's important to realize just how much was directly reprinted from Holiday 2010 and Holiday 2011. I wish that had been clearly explained in the description.However, there is a different version of this year's book that's available *only* in stores--the cover is green with different images--which excludes much of the "repeats" for those of us who've been enjoying Matthew's books for years and are not very interested in owning multiple books that have the same projects and ideas in them. (Some stories have still been repeated, as with the Nielson candy party article from 2010.)
Matthew Mead's books are always a joy to read and, to me, simply are "good eye candy" as well as inspiring.
If you're 100% new to Holiday with Matthew Mead, this is a great book of inspiration. As a compendium, it's super. If you've bought the past two issues (2010 and 2011), then you may prefer to seek out the "shelf version" of Holiday.

I love Matthew Mead's Style.
As usual, Matthew did not disappoint me! His book was filled with wonderful ideas and beautiful settings that gave me lots of ideas. Just wish I had the time to do them all.
Another quality book with quality ideas for the Holidays! I have quite the collection of Matthew Mead books now and they are great resources!
